The Bjelke-Petersen Dam, which is also often refered to as Lake Barambah is located fifteen kilometres from Murgon in the beautiful South Burnett region. The dam holds over a mllion megalitres of water and covers 2500 hectares of land.

The Bjelke-Petersen Dam is extremely popular forfreshwater fishing, boating, camping and picnicking. With its car park, boat ramp, numerous picnic and BBQ areas, never ending supply of nature and wildlife this is an ideal place to have a family picnic, weekend break or holiday.
